Throughout 2013, Norway will be celebrating "Munch 2013," a series of special events and exhibitions commemorating the 150th birthday of Edvard Munch—an avant-garde artist whose work contributed to the development of "modernism" in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Among his most famous works is his provocative "Scream" series among others including "Anxiety," "Melancholy," "Madonna," "The Kiss" and many more.
